Stylin' and Profilin'
Bubby has become our independent, self dressing, cowboy boot wearing little 3 year old. He has learned that mommy and daddy are ok with him getting himself dressed. Plus he can now reach the clothes in his closet. I have been quite impressed with his choice of clothes. He actually matches the majority of the time. Then there are times when he doesn't. Note picture below. I don't have the heart to tell him to go change. That would destroy his little heart and make him think that I don't approve of his choices.

Don't get me wrong if he comes dressed like this, I will tell him to march his little a** upstairs and take that crap off.

But until then baby you can keep wearing your orange shorts and red shirt with your cowboy boots.

Spring Cleaning
I became very ambitious yesterday and started spring cleaning in our room. I found all kinds of things. To name a few: brand new box of nursing pads, shoes from pagent, mocassins, my mamaw's broches, and this....
Yes folks that is my crown from 10 years ago. Not many people know about this little accomplishment in my life. Hubs thought it was so funny and decided to snap a pic. I also found some pants that I wore not long after Buggers was born. I saw myself in a video one time with these on and the phrase "Tell 'em Large Marge sent ya" came to mind. I hid the pants from sight until they rose from the dead on Saturday. So being that hubs was feeling nostalgic he decided to showcase what he calls "all my hard work".
I have one bedroom down and 2 to go. Then it is off to the downstairs. Anyone else started spring cleaning?

Beauty and the Beast
As I came back from my first outing outside all day, I noticed that spring left a little present for us. The first flower of the season. Right outside our front door is two hibiscus plants. I was quite surprised today to see the first full bloom. After all the gloom and doom that has surrounded us it was such a refreshing site. I grabbed the camera to capture nature's gift. And like clock work Buggers wanted her picture taken too. So she posed on her bench and looked up at the flower. She was admiring it and trying to smell it. Then all of a sudden her curiosity took over and she felt the need to get a closer look at the beautiful flower. She plucked it from its source of life and proceeded to inspect quite closely its delicate parts. She had pollen all over her face, nose, mouth and hair. She was trying to put it behind her ear. Then she decided that it needed to go back on the plant as she was done destroying it.

Not so good times
When it rains it pours here. On Thursday I found out that my grandfather has been diagnosed with lung cancer. We had suspected it for about a week but was confirmed. He goes next week to find out the course of treatment. I pray that he will be in no pain and can go about his days as he normally does. Then my BIL went to the emergency room on Friday with some paralysis to his face. Then I decided to follow suit and go to the emergency room late Friday night. I have been fighting what I thought was a stomach bug since Wednesday. I have not been sleeping at night due to my stomach cramping. I left on Thursday for my conference down in Houston. I was so disappointed that due to my stomach I was not able to enjoy the wonderful spread of food that the company provided. I struggled through the first full day of the conference on Friday. Hubs and kids came down to spend the night with me. Good thing because about 1:30 Friday night I woke up with severe stomach cramps and sick as a dog. That went on for over 2 hours before I got in contact with my mom. My mom called my sister to come get me and take me to the nearest hospital. After a very long wait, bloodwork, and an ultrasound, I was diagnosed with pancreatitis and beginnings of gall stones. The DR used a very technical term and told me that I have sludge or rubble in my gall bladder. So I have been put on a liquid diet for a day. Then a low fat diet to control the flare ups. I am so hungry since I haven't eaten anything since Friday at 6:30. But I am afraid to eat because I do not want to experience what happened on Friday again. I am making a appt. to a gastro doctor hopefully on Monday. Hopefully this will pass before too long. :(

Picture This
I am hooked on photo editing using all the different websites. My favorite feature is the skin tanner. I am a natural redhead so the likelihood of me getting a tan is slim to none. Therefore the fact that I can tan without the painful sunburn is heaven in my eyes.

And this is to test Hubs to see how long it takes him to check my blog. He is not an advid reader so let's just see how long it takes me to get in trouble for these.

On the Bunny Trail
We headed over to the in laws today for a family Easter. Gammaw made a delicious lunch. Uncle Lee and Aunt Amanda brought stuff to dye easter eggs. Then we had a good old fashion easter egg hunt where daddys hide the eggs and the tots go find them. We had a great time as you can see by the pictures.
We make fire...Grunt Grunt
Me with Little Chief Break Sticks on my leg

Ok Daddy that flash is too bright for my little eyes

Woohoo light my fire honey

Now let me light yours :)

Chillaxin' by the fire

Have I mentioned that I love love love our new fire pit. We burned all the wood we had in our yard last night so we had to go out and get some today. But we didn't go far since we live in the woods we just headed down a trail with the wagons and filled each up. We will probably head out and get some more for the weekend. I think we will actually have some company to share our new pit with this weekend.

It's getting hot in here
Hubs and I worked on a little project today. I was actually suprised that world war 3 didn't occur. We worked fairly well together which is def out of the ordinary when it comes to projects like this. Ever since we went to a "bonfire" a week ago at some friends house I have been wanting a fire in our back yard. So we built ourselves alittle fire ring for our fire pit. This is so suburbia cliche being that we can't actually have an open flame and that we have to contain it in a pot. Anyways we made a fire tonight and I absolutely loved it. It was so relaxing and the kids hade fun watching the fire too. Look forward to hanging by the fire with friends and family.
