Chlorine is our Perfume

The first swim of the summer...what a great way to start off June!!! We headed to the local Y to bask in the sun and splash and play at the "beach". That is what the kiddos call the pool. It is so cute. Hubs and I got burnt...burnt...burnt. Atleast we look a lovely shade of red rather than pastey white. Bubby got a little burnt on his nose and cheeks. After we got home the kids laid down for a nap and 2 1/2 hours later I woke them up. They were so wiped out from swimming. We plan on going alot this summer. I get out of summer school around noon. I can make it home by 12:30. We can hit the pool by 1 then head home for naps around 2:30. Sounds perfect!!!!!!!

Night goes on forever and party never ends...

Unless Patron says the party is over right hubs and jeremy!!!! We headed to B-town on Friday after work for a little R&R with the Hooders and friends. We had a blast until the blitzzard hit. That means until Patron decided to break up the party and send all his friends home. Hubs and Jeremy were the life of the party including Jeremy become a place setting at IHOP. Leeza and I were the responsible ones and got these party boys home safely. I always look forward to hanging out with all of them. We have a great time anytime we go out and rock the town.

What's wrong Leeza????? Somebody take your drink?!?!?!

Dancing Machines
**Paul and Mandy demonstrate the newest dance rave...churn the butter. See if you can spot it. Nancy shakes her bootay whenever spirit fingers are around. And Molly even got out there to show us what she's been practicing in front of closet mirror. And of course Leeza is always up for shaking her groove thang.

Beware the tongue is contagious!!

Until next time....

eight + two = Ton of Fun

Bubby enjoyed playing with the octapus one day while sister slept. They actually got the chance to play in it together today. Don't think hubs got any pics though. We are all looking forward to a summer full of swimming. Maybe we can break out those suits on Sunday. My white legs need some fun in the sun!!!

Pass the Happy Pill Please

Pill, bottle, ointment, or swift kick in the ass whatever it takes to get me out of this funk. I have no reason to be this way. Wait maybe I do. But who truly wants to listen to me wallow in self pity. I think this pic of buggers depicts other people's reaction to my ho-hum attitude.

I promise all the people who come into daily contact with me that the remedy is on its way. I think my cure is going to come in the form of some adult beverages and some long overdue booty shaking time. Viva la Beaumont!!!!!!

These two are rarely ever in need of an attitude adjustment. How great is it to be filled with testosterone?!?! Maybe that is the miracle drug. Nah... with that comes another crazy contagious behavior of crotch grabbing.

Memorial Day Weekend

We headed over to my parents on Saturday to spend the weekend. We always have a good time hanging out with them. We started off the weekend by playing Yahtzee. I destroyed them with a score of 528 but being that I got 3 yahtzees in one game didn't seem to hurt any. Hubs and I enlightened mom on the math behind the game. She got pretty perturbed and decided to get us back by chewing/smacking her gum. Or as my dad would describe it, "a cow chewing on cud". We drove around Waco on Sunday checking out all the local sights, Lake Waco, Little Mexico, Cameron Park, Downtown Waco which featured a large yellow catfish in an old pickup, and Baylor University. We went to a really neat park that had a little amusement park with old vintage rides. Bubby and Buggers both got to ride in go karts with Daddy and Papa. Papa drove so fast with Buggers he drove the wheels right off it...literally. It was quite funny listening to my parents share such sweet conversations as my mother drove us around Waco. My dad was navigator with a map and my mom was the driver with no sense of direction and being that she is frugile...no compass. We ate at a good Mexican restaurant. Then hubs, dad and I headed over to Hollywood Theatres to catch the new Indiana Jones movie. It was so nice to go to the movies and sit through a movie without subtitles and two toddlers needed everything under the sun. On Monday mom and I did a forgotten tradition of Monday afternoon shopping. When I was in college mom and I went shopping every Monday. We would cat around to the town shops or walmart or even just to the grocery store. I have really missed hanging out with her doing that. We hit a favorite antique shop and then headed to Ross and Marshalls to scavenge the racks for deals, which we found lots!!! After a blissful time treasure hunting, we headed back to paradise getting home at 9:30 Monday evening.

Can you smell it...

That new car smell? Well, Hubs got me a new car today. Now before all of you cyber snoops think we are rollin' in dough. He got me a great deal on a 2008 Nissan Sentra and actually lowered our monthly payments. My FIL worked a deal for us and got us out of our Malibu which I've been driving without AC for a couple months now. I have claimed this new car as mine!!! It feels so great to have a car that is "mine". Hubs personally thanked me for putting 60,000 miles on the truck then giving it back to him. Only thing I need to do to make this car officially mine is to name it. When I got my Honda Civic after graduation from high school, I gave it a very suiting name..."Silver Bullet". My mother on the other hand refered to it as the "Rolling Tin Can". Sooooooo, maybe this one is Blue Bitty, Azulita, or BlueBelle. Any other suggestions??
