Ode to Robo Wrist

Oh Robo Wrist how I miss thee.

It has only been a mere 8 hours since we departed. I am still thinking of the last time we spent together in that doctor's office. If only I knew that would be the last time I would have you on. Don't feel bad that you have been replaced. I would give anything to have you back. You gave me freedom that your replacement doesn't allow. I could type with ease, wash my own hair, and apply my self tanning lotion without hubs assistance (he's not complaining though). If I had an itch with you on, I could simply unstrap you. Now I have to carefully jam something into Ol'Blackie (name of the rebound) and pray I don't inadvertantly commit suicide. You would not forsake my wrist/hand by making it all skinny, pale, dry and flaky. The 5 weeks I spent with you will mean more to me than the 5 weeks I will spent with OB.

I will never forget you Robo Wrist!!!

***For those of you who are curious here is Robo Wrist's replacement....

DO NOT jam something down Ol Blackie to sooth an itch. If you inadvertantly scratch yourself you could end up with a bad infection under there!
Yes that will go really nice with your new black dress!!

I had a feeling about this before you told me you removed old blackie. I know what claustophobia is like and how much fear it can bring on. Remember the plane ride and me telling the flight attendant to move her serving cart or I would climb over it? All I can say is try to relax and put your mind in a nice place. Music can help a lot. Sorry you went through this.
