Trick or Treat!!
We decided to do the whole old fashion trick or treating. No trunk or treat...no village center...no market street. Just good ole door to door soliciting for chocolate goodies and sugary sweets. We had a rough start since Buggers just woke up and Bubby was trying to go to sleep right before we went. Bubs went as Spiderman and Buggers as Winnie the Pooh. We went to about 10 houses which was mostly people we knew plus two McCain supporters. We headed back to the house candy in tow and sat in the driveway and handed out our candy. The kids decided to get a jump start on their goodies. We ran out of trick or treaters about 8:30. So we headed inside and were in bed by 9:30. As I laid in bed thinking about all the people who were getting dressed and about to head out on the town for a night of dancing and partying, all I thought to myself was they won't have half the fun I had tonight with my family. Nothing beats seeing your sweet babies all dressed up on this childhood favorite holiday.

Darren and I want to start a movement to bring trick or treating back to the way it used to be. We have less kids in our neighborhood each year, and we are worried that it will die out completely. We are planning a haunted house at our house next year; maybe that will entice more people to stay in the neighborhood!
The kids are super cute as always but DAMN girl, you are SKINNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I felt the same way you did last night. What's better than strolling the streets on a beautiful night watching your kids have the time of their life!!

AWWWWW...they are so cute. I love the shots from the back with them walking up to the doors. Winnie looks tired.....:)
I would have sent some Star Crunch home with them if I had known then that we were going to Ft. Worth...now I'm trying to figure out what to do with 80 of them, and 60 tootsie roll pops.....dad is gonna eat the big tootsie rolls!
